...

Learn to play bridge, the world's greatest card game! The Common Sense approach we employ systematically and clearly layers new information upon previously learned concepts, providing a coherent structure that minimizes the need to always attempt to memorize new ideas in isolation, making learning easier.

Bridge is the ultimate partnership game. As such, communication between partners is of paramount importance in order to convey information about your hand strength and shape. The best way to communicate these assets is by employing the concept of inference. Our teaching stresses the use of inferences to maximize the partnership's success when bidding, playing, and defending.

This 6-week class will teach you the basics, in a comfortable and fun environment. We will will cover the three pillars of bridge: bidding, defense and declarer play.

You'll also benefit from this class if you've recently started playing bridge, or would like to refresh your knowledge. Taking this class will ensure you have a solid foundation in the basics.

It's a game of a million inferences. There are a lot of things to draw inferences from — cards played and not played. These inferences tell you something about the probabilities. It's got to be the best intellectual exercise out there. You're seeing through new situations every ten minutes. Bridge is about weighing gain/loss ratios. You're doing calculations all the time.
