Play and Learn Bridge Games

Our friendly Play and Learn bridge games are designed so that you have fun playing bridge, and learn in the process. During the game, John Kempf and Carol Panzer, Iowa City Bridge game directors and teachers, will be circulating to answer your questions about bidding, playing and defense as they come up.
We will play 18-21 pre-dealt bridge hands. At the end of the game we'll provide you with a record of the hands played so that you can review them at home. In addition, each week we'll choose one or two especially interesting hands, and will discuss particular points regarding bidding, play, and/or defense. You'll be provided with a link to this analysis. In addition, your follow-up questions are always welcome after the game!
Play and Learn games are designed for novice and intermediate players; Common Sense Bridge 1 or equivalent is required.
A partner is not required. If you don't have a partner, we'll do our best to find you one.
